Make the Most of Squat Equipment and Power Racks
One great way to broaden the options in your workout is to add a power rack into your routine. One of the benefits of it is that it can be used while squatting, standing, or lying on a bench. To get the most out of a power racks, here are some tips for you.
Have a workout Partner
Although the power racks made it safer to use the plates alone, an extra set of hands can also come in handy in case you need help or develop cramps. It also make the workout more safe and fun.
Use multiple sets of Bars
If you plan to use weight with the squat rack, it is important to have more than one set of bars. When you have multiple bars you can use them for standing upright and another type of bar for a full squat.
Adjusting the Safety Bars
Adjusting the safety bars on each side of the rack made it possible to create spots to place the weight bar when needed. You can use what they usually call sticking points in order to position the safety bars. The sticking points are points where you can rest the weight bar quickly and when necessary. This is particularly helpful especially if you felt like your knees starts to cramp or buckle.
